How to make a wishlist: 5 steps
A Bazha wishlist takes a few minutes: a password-free sign-in, a list, wishes by link and one link for your friends. Below are five steps in the order the app takes you through them.
Steps
- Sign in without a password. Press “Get started free” on the home page and sign in with an email link or Google. No password is needed.
- Create a wishlist. Press “Create wishlist”, give it a name such as “My birthday wishlist”, and add a description and the event date if you like. The list is public by default: anyone with the link can see it. You can make it private.
- Add your first wish. Press “Add wish” and paste a link to an item from any store. Bazha usually pulls in the title, photo and price on its own, and you can correct the fields. Add a colour, a size or other details if needed, and up to 5 photos.
- Check how guests will see it. A preview of the card shows while you add the wish. If a wish is not ready, save it as a draft: guests see it once you publish.
- Share the link. Press “Share”: where the device has a share menu it opens, otherwise the link is copied. Send it in a chat or an invitation.
Do you need an account to make a wishlist?
Yes, but without a password: you sign in with an email link or Google. Guests who only look at your list do not need an account.
How many wishlists can you make for free?
Free covers up to 3 public wishlists.
How do friends reserve a gift?
A friend opens your link without an account and sees what is already taken. To reserve an item they sign in quickly without a password, with an email link or Google. After that the item looks taken to everyone else. You do not see who reserved.
Can you add a wish from your phone or from a store?
Yes. The Chrome extension adds an item straight from a store page, and the iPhone app is coming soon to the App Store. Details are on the apps page.
